LIZ KOSKINEN

TEACHER | STUDENT

Liz fell in love with yoga in 2004 after attending her first yoga class during college at The University of Arizona.  She enjoyed how yoga helped balance her stress and promote an overall healthy lifestyle, especially as a young college student.  In 2010, Liz moved to the Vail Valley and started practicing with Julia Clarke.   After being Julia’s student for many years, Liz wanted to further her yoga practice and knowledge, so she enrolled in the Colorado School of Yoga 200-hour Teacher Training with Julia Clarke and Gina Caputo. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in the Fall of 2017.

Liz and her husband, John, live in Avon, CO with their dog, Jack.  She is a Special Education teacher for Eagle County Schools and enjoys every minute of her time working with children, watching them grow and learn.  Her excitement for teaching, combined with her love of yoga, is what drew her to become a yoga teacher and she is eager to share her passion.  Like many, Liz is a Colorado transplant and still considers the state of Wisconsin her true home. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, and reading.
